Are We Ready? Human Rights as Foundation and Challenge in Mental Health Nursing
Human rights are often seen as the ethical backbone of mental health care, but they are often critically deemed as they imply fundamental changes to the care system. In this keynote, Dirk Richter will challenge us to reflect on how do we, as psychiatric and mental health nurses, translate human rights into genuine practice that fosters dignity, recovery, and equity. The session will not end with definitive answers, but with an invitation to discuss, questioning our readiness and resilience to drive care forward.
